The tech world is now going crazy about the latest unveiling of the much awaited Google Nexus One, the newest arrival in the world of smart phones. This is Google’s first venture into the smartphones market and because it’s a Google product, expectations are very high.
So what are the most notable features of Nexus One?
According to tech reviews, the first exciting feature is its voice recognition capability. Meaning what? Meaning you can tweet and text WHILE DRIVING! Yeah I know it doesn’t sound very responsible (and please don’t do it) but isn’t that what many people want?
The second most loved feature (well, not really a feature) is that Nexus One is unlocked, for a steep price of $530. This is good news for people who are already committed to a certain carrier and didn’t have that same choice with iPhone (AT&T) and Droid (Verizon). Nexus One is the first high end smartphone in the US that’s open to more than one carrier.
Third feature that no iPhone user would want to hear is that Adobe Flash Player 10.1 is fully supported in Nexus One. Flash heavy sites, ads and games can be displayed in Google “superphone,” something that Apple users have been dying to have in their phones. For those who love to play video games in their phones, if this video won’t make you wanna buy Nexus One, I wonder what will.
